Former WBC heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev scored a first round TKO over Rich Boruff on Saturday in Mordovia. Maskaev-Boruff took place in Saransk, the capital of Mordovia. Maskaev is now 36-6, 27 KOs. Boruff slips down to 17-3-1, 10 KOs. Time was 1:35 of the first round. The American was able to beat the count afer being dropped but was ruled too wobbly to continue.
